First Steps

After you register your charity and have received your unique URL you can copy and paste one of The Manning Arts buttons onto as many pages of your website as possible.  Remember that you raise funds when your supporter makes the click and orders a work of art from our online art gallery, so get the word out.

Tips:

A heartfelt appeal to your supporters announcing your participation in The Manning Arts innovative fundraising initiative is key to your success. Please see examples of how other affiliates get the word out.

Advise your Board of Directors and supporters that when they choose a work of art, 66% of their purchase will instantly benefit your organization as a charitable contribution from them. They get a work of art of their choice and a tax deduction too!

Send out a press release to announce that your organization is now affiliated with The Manning Arts innovative fundraising initiative designed to help 501c3 organizations raise money for worthy causes.

Please keep us posted with any communications relating to TMA so we can back you up through our social media.

Optimize Exposure

At every opportunity, explain and encourage your supporters to click on TMA button encoded with your unique URL to choose a work of art from our online Art Gallery in support of your worthy cause.

Tips:

Integrate TMA button encoded with your unique URL into all communications that your supporters receive from your organization. Make it a recognized symbol.

Reinforce that this is an ongoing fundraiser by including TMA button encoded with your unique URL in all email communications that come from your organization.

Add an email signature button encoded with your unique URL to the bottom of all outgoing emails originating from your organization.

Share Your Unique URL:

The more exposure your fundraiser has the more successful it will be. Think outside of the box, as your unique URL affiliate link can be shared with an unlimited number of people.

Tips:

Many of your Board of Directors and supporters have websites that support worthy causes. Ask them to copy and paste TMA button encoded with your unique URL onto their website.

Outreach Marketing

Constant contact is the key! A regular communication is a sure way to reinforce this active and ongoing fundraiser. Motivate your supporters by email and/or hardcopy communication, on a regular basis and before upcoming holidays.  You will have also received by email, a second user friendly version of your unique URL that will include your organization name as well as a unique QR Code that can be included in all hardcopy mail and in your social media outreach.

Tips:

Send regular emails reminding your supporters to click on TMA button encoded with your unique URL to check out the online Art Gallery and choose a work of art with your thanks for their charitable contribution.

Your supporters can type your user friendly unique URL code into their browser bar, so include it on all hardcopy communications and postings through social media.  

Be sure to use the user friendly version of your unique URL and QR Code wherever possible, such as on the back of your business cards.

Use Social Media to Get the Word Out

Post an appeal with your user friendly unique URL through your social media outreach, such as Facebook and Twitter.

Tips:

Appeal to your social media followers to click on your unique link to order a work of art for their home, office or as a gift so that your organization can instantly receive 66% of every purchase as a tax deductible, charitable contribution from them, in support of your worthy cause.

Encourage them to spread the word to their social media contacts by using causes to get the word out.
